The Melting Pot at 7521, 2500 Cobb Place Lane Northwest # 800, Kennesaw, Georgia.

Service was great and the food is always excellent, but it seems like there may be some inattention by management. We have been to this Melting Pot twice and both times the table top stove was either malfunctioning or completely broken. This last time we had to move to a different table.

The server was excellent and apologized for the inconvenience and made the experience pleasant, but based on other reviews, it appears this is a common theme here.

In addition, although we visited on a weekday and the restaurant was far from full, the bartender was sufficiently backed up that it took over 20 minutes to get the bottle of wine we ordered delivered. When it was, the bartender seemed to be in a huge rush and ended up not only not presenting the bottle to us, but shredding the cork.

Again, the server sufficiently apologized and the experience was fine. We fished some cork out of our glasses and carried on. Had this not been a $250 meal, I would rate this 5 stars, but given the cost of the establishment, the issues should never occur.
